This route takes you from Delft to the polders and wetlands of the Midden-Delftland region - a rural haven surrounded by the skylines of Delft, Rotterdam and The Hague. Highlight of the route is the historic centre of Delft.

You cycle along the boundary of the glass houses of the Westland region to the picturesque village of Schipluiden. From here you follow the dyke of the former steam tram to Maasland. Via the small town of Maassluis you proceed to Vlietlanden nature reserve. The canal Delftse Schie takes you back into Delft. You enter the historic centre through the only remaining city gate, the Oostpoort.
